When gareth was a teenager he played football as a goalie, (no surprise there as he was 6ft6, with big hands lol). Although he enjoyed this he soon fell in love with outdoor bowling. Gareth played bowls for his home club Milton of Campsie Bowling Club for many years and got a good few trophys. Gareths most recent intrest was darts! Oh how he loved going out with his darts friends on a Monday night!!! His idle player was Barnie ( Raemond van barneveld). Luckily when we were at a darts weekend in Bridlington a couple of years ago, Gareth got to meet his idle xxx Gareths other and probably most important hobby was following the Glasgow Rangers!!! He was a true blue and went most weekends with Davie and our son Sean. He was very passionate about the game but never sectarian, he even went to Manchester and Barcelona to see the boys in royal blue xxx
